A lot of people ask me why I first got into photography. Being a mother of 3, the answer always comes quickly to me - memories. The most precious moments in life come and go so quickly. Most of these moments quickly fade over time until we only remember a few.
As I see it, a picture taken is a memory captured for all time. Once the shutter closes, the quality and creativeness of the image is locked in time. You can never go back and have your baby smile differently or capture the important details that might of been missed.
I strive to create these "captured memories" by including the subtle details that make each moment special so when you do look back at your memories over the years each image takes you back to the day it was taken.
